Some info to show the connection .The first flutes where discovered in the "Geissenklösterle" [2] while the latest one was found in neighboring Hohle Fels (Hollow Rock near Schelklingen) [3] (cm: Site is not up-to-date so the flute is not mentioned there yet).--The Magnificent Clean-keeper (talk) 18:11, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
- There's already an article called Hohle Fels flute, which was later turned into a redirect. Grundle2600 (talk) 18:36, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
- Dbachmann just took care of it and reorganized it very well. So let's consider it solved.--The Magnificent Clean-keeper (talk) 21:08, 27 June 2009 (UTC)
"Among the most notable items are a sculpture of a [...] flutes of bird bone and mammoth ivory, the oldest known musical instruments." Something seems to be missing...? --97.87.137.63 (talk) 08:44, 18 October 2010 (UTC)
- It looks like nonsense to me, and it's been there more than ten years. I'm going to cautiously try changing it to "flutes carved from bird bone and mammoth ivory". There may be things in the German version of the page that we should bring over, that might explain the missing sculpture. Card Zero (talk) 17:35, 7 June 2022 (UTC)
