An anonymous editor posed the following question in this edit

What does "He became only the fourth Indian batsman to score a double century in a tour game at home" mean? It's either a tour game, or a home game?????

The turn of phrase presumably comes from here, where it is explained that the tour games in question were Delhi vs Zimbabweans and Board President's XI vs Zimbabweans. By extension I assume that "tour games" is taken to mean a game by a visiting team against non-Test opposition.

Now, is there any way of incorporating that in simpler language? Is it really important enough to be mentioned in the lead anyway? And do we have a source that's a tad more reliable than cricket365? Sam Vimes 00:26, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

This source states he is the eighth person to score a double century against a touring side outside of Test matches. Although only four of those sides (I think) were actually Test sides. So accurately it would be 'only the fourth Indian batsman to score a double century in a tour game at home against Test opposition' in a three-day match started on Valentine's day where both umpires middle names were Bob Not a lead worthy stat IMO.
The other double was for Delhi but not against Zimbabwe it was in the Ranji Trophy against Railways.[1] Zimbabwe only played a single warm-up match in the entire tour and that was the one against the Board President's XI. Yes. This phrase needs to be removed from the lead. Gambhir is the only Indian batsman to have scored 5 centuries in 5 matches. Also he ended 2009 as the number 1 test player. Was selected as ICC test player of the year. Why doesnt these feats getting a place in the lead? Is there somebody editing this article anyway?
