Good Article Review June 10 2009

I have just reviewed this article for status of GA. Here is my review and suggestions for further improvement:

1. Is it well written? In this respect, it:

• It's a little listy in places, but this is a pass.
• I have gone throughout the article and made a few grammar and prose changes that I felt made the article flow more smoothly. I believe that other editors should also repeat this as there were several typos and basic lapses in grammar that I corrected. I might have missed some.
• I have some issues with the section headings. For example, wouldn't state championships and fall, spring and winter sports fall under athletics?
• I think some formatting issues could be corrected and a bit more time spent on correcting grammar and prose and making the article easy to read.

2. Is factually accurate and verifiable? In this respect, it:

• Pass
• The majority of facts are correct and well-cited.
• Reference 1 is used 15 times throughout the article, maybe look for secondary sources

3. Is it broad in its coverage? In this respect, it:

• Pass
• The article seems to be fairly broad in its coverage, ranging from initial discussion of construction up to the new grants they have received.

4. Does the article maintain Neutrality?

• Pass
• Mostly, in some places it does list.

5. Is it stable?

• Pass
• The article seems to be stable

6. Is it illustrated, where possible and appropriate, by images.? In this respect:

• Pass
• The article is well illustrated and I think the fair use claims are vaild.
• The photo of the 2007 Golf Team is unneeded.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the article as it stands I think it is very good and I do think that the article needs some more work to make it great, but there is nothing significant that would make me fail it. As so I have granted GA status.
