steryotipical and racist? edit

Well, I hope I am not the only one that thinks the way the WWE are using these guys is racist. Then they have the announcer throwing around slang and having "cryme tyme" act like a minority of african americans. (chadking704)

i think their the WWEs way to cash in on the success of TNAS LAX--Psychosismask 17:31, 16 September 2006 (UTC) remeber that im the original person who thought of this so dont jakk my idea!Reply

Actually, I think New Jack was there first -Darryl Hamlin 22:31, 17 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Professional wrestling has always used stereotypes in some way shape or form for many of their wrestlers. Hell, stereotypical characters are part of the foundation of wrestling gimmicks whether it be using outdated and inaccurate stereotypes about so called "Hillbillies", Latinos, Asians, African Americans, Arabs, and Homosexuals. . Look at the gimmick for the tag team, the Highlanders for instance. It's a perfect example of a Scotish stereotype. It's only a big deal if people make it into a big deal because it's not anything new. It's been going on for nearly as long as pro wrestling itself has been around. Vince McMahon isn't the first to do it, he won't be the last. Odin's Beard 00:31, 25 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Is everyone forgetting that Harlem Heat were SLAVES when they debuted? VelvetKevorkian 03:21, 3 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
That's the point Odin's Beard made, using inaccurate and, sometimes, even offensive stereotypes has always been part of wrestling. Hillbilly Jim, Haystacks Calhoun(spelling?) Funaki, Mr.Fuji, the "gay" tag team angle with Chuck Palumbo and Billy Gunn, Harlem Heat, Kamala, Adrian Adonis, Yokozuna, Roddy Piper, etc. All of them were characters that represented some form of stereotype whether it be Hillbilly Jim's entire gimmick or Roddy Piper's kilt. 4.225.11.239 01:23, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
Harlem Heat were never on TV as slaves. It was just an idea. And none of this has anything to do with the article.-- bd (talk to me) (watch me) 01:41, 4 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I don't understand how you can say Cryme Tyme is WWEs was to take the spot light from LAX... There have been so many latino stables that LAX is a copy of, WWF's Los Boricuas or WCW's LWO. chadking704

Heel? edit

Are they heel? Or face?--989 RVD 22:11, 5 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

They are not on television so they are nothing yet. At house shows they play face though.-- bd (talk to me) (watch me) 22:57, 5 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
It's official. Cryme Time is face.--989 RVD 01:38, 17 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

And over big time too!

Yeah they were fun to watch. I l iek the cheating heel tactics used by faces. Reminds m e of Face- Eddy Guerrero.Cosmic Larva 03:13, 17 October 2006 (UTC)Reply
That's obviously what they're going for. Cryme Tyme = Los Guerreros Mark II. 71.203.209.0 00:19, 27 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

WTF? edit

Did anyone see that?? Who did that to Cryme Tyme's page? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.34.81.232 (talkcontribs)

Don't worry about it. Stuff like that happens all the time, and people like me spend our worthless lives fixing the stuff they do. Oh well, at least I'm not bored all day. -- THLCCD 00:40, 28 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Title shot edit

shouldn't their title shot won at NYR be mentionned in this article? --205.151.6.33 17:48, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

No. Nothing has happened since, that makes it week by week.«»bd(talk stalk) 17:56, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speaking of Title shots, what happened to their shots at the the tag team gold? John Cena and HBK are currently champs and Cryme Tyme is bearly mention on Raw anymore, (preforming on heat). Did the storywriters forget them? Dro Boy—Preceding unsigned comment added by User:Dro Boy (talkcontribs)
