Proper naming
editI renamed this page (and its talk page) from "Lecce Galatina Airport" to the current "Lecce Galatina Air Base" but am unsure whether the really correct title wouldn't be "Galatina Air Base". Opinions welcome, preferably resting on solid arguments. Jan olieslagers (talk) 18:33, 21 June 2014 (UTC)
- IATA seems to refer to it as Lecce for the city name and Galatina for the airport/airbase name. Usually, for air bases, IATA specify something like AB in the name. But they often do not care too much to make any difference, and they are not very accurate with the names either. -- Denis.arnaud (talk) 21:06, 22 June 2014 (UTC)
