Proposed demerger edit
Since Central and Eastern European countries no longer share a common system, I propose to DEMERGE the article GPA in Central and Eastern Europe into TEN SEPARATE ARTICLES on grading in Russia, Ukraine, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Romania, Poland, the Czech Rep. and Slovakia, in the same way as it was done for Bulgaria. Also, articles on grading in the Balkan countries and in Belarus should be added. Sredni vashtar 23:14, 27 February 2007 (UTC)

FYI, there is no such thing as "GPA" in Eastern Europe. At least not in Lithuania. No one counts the average grade in high schools, universities count the average only for one semester - after the semester is over, the average starts from scratch again. Renata (talk) 21:59, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
