Is the Schedule Necessary?

I'm not sure if the schedule for GITEX 2013 and 2014 is relevant to this article. Wanted to check in before removing it.

Also in terms of clean up, this article looks all right formatting and content wise (could use reference checks though). The Tag might be out of date at this point.
