G-Con changed to G-Fest
editIn 1996 and 1997, and perhaps later, the convention was called G-Con. I do not remember, nor is it important, to go into the bizarre events which led to the convention changing its name. Modeling contest and seminars
editI plan to make some addition discussing the excellent work that Stan Hyde has done with these. It has been, for several years, the main reason that my son and I attend, as he enjoys doing buildups. I also plan to add links to the pages that I did covering the 96 and 97 Cons, once I clean up the link errors on them that came from moving hosts. These pages have some excellent pics from the cons, but I do not know how to make them available for use within the wiki, so linking to the coverage would be the best I could do.
