Should this be a redirect to Futurism or Future Studies? It seems like most of this can be covered in the latter article. --Doug (talk) 15:57, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
- Futurists adapt and apply the protocols and practices described by other articles cited above.

Bias
It is unusual, and not best practices, for one individual to promote his or here organisation and use his or her definitions for an article at Wikipedia.
I do not know John Smart, but he is apparently promoting his own organisation.

Deleted another blog article. Rather pointless to add them as there are many out there and they can be found via google.com or and other search engine.

Scientific forecasting?
Is this the right article to discuss people involved in scientific forecasting? J. Scott Armstrong is a leader in scientific forecasting and there are number of others writing peer reviewed journal articles on the subject. RonCram 17:53, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
Contemporary Futurists
The list is relatively short. Why Laurie Anderson and not Natasha Vita-More? Anderson is cool but not a futurist. Vita-More is a known futurist. I'm new here but I'd like to suggest Vita-More. I just heard her speak in the UK and she was scholarly and smart. Thoughts? Videogamexx (talk) 20:04, 12 January 2008 (UTC)
