Defunct Francophone communities
I don't think we should have this category. You'd have to include a large number of communities in Louisiana, New England and elsewhere if you were to make a complete list. I'd delete it. Funnyhat 21:55, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
Clearfield, Pennsylvania has a post-1800s French community known to speak a variant of European French from their immigrant ancestors, but they're not the linguistic majority group. 67.49.89.214 (talk) 15:02, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
