Fred Meyer and the Occult
Fred G. Meyer was also a known member of the Order of Rosicrucians (AMORC). On Sept. 2 The late Mr. Fred Meyer of Portland, OR, left $ 200.000 to the Rosicrucian Order [citation needed].
Rosicrusianism also heavily influenced the thinking of Adolf Hitler. Suspiciously, the logo for Fred Meyer is often red lettering surrounded by white and lined with black -- the same colors as the Nazi flag, which were derived from the occultic groups like the Rosicrusians, amongst others. As well, if you enter the Apparel Department of any Fred Meyer, you will be surrounded by racks that are shaped like the Swastika. In addition, the Food Department uses green freight carts, nicknamed "U-Boats" (but they don't really look like the letter U).
Fred Meyer is also named in The 13 Bloodlines of the Illuminati.
I just removed the claim of Meyer's AMORC membership, as it clearly is a remnant of the otherwise removed section cited above. A citation for the inheritance was given, but not to the Order, but rather to the Rosicrucian Fellowship. Whether that source was "respectable" is open to debate. In any case, no reference for a membership in any specific rosicrucian organization was ever given. Huon 15:19, 9 June 2006 (UTC)
Actually, the claim about Fred Meyer's membership in AMORC was not posted by me, it was there before I originally posted the other information -- in other words, I was simply expanding on what was already there.
