I have contacted the BBC to ask for permission to reproduce the lyrics here. I will make a comment (and give a reference from them) when I hear from them. If they do not grant permission, then this should be merged with the main article, although I think I already mentioned the remaining details there! Thank you for your interest in the issue. Please keep in mind that full texts of various works are stored in wikisource, a sister project. You may find refs to wikisource in the form of template {{wikisource}} placed in articles. In our case, after BBC gives the permission to release the text under the license acceptable by wikimedia (I hope, you stated this clearly in your request, if not I can explain this to you later) you may put the template into Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em, which will look like this:

Thanks! The BBC has told me that the copyright doesn't belong to them, but to the script writer Raymond Allen. I am contacting him (by post) and will get back to this in a few weeks when hopefully I get a reply! PhantomSteve (talk) 12:33, 5 March 2009 (UTC)Reply
Update: I forgot to post the letter to him - I just found it... oops! I'm re-writing to him, and will get back to this in a few weeks... PhantomSteve (talk) 21:05, 11 May 2009 (UTC)Reply
Update: I have received a letter from Mr Allen giving permission to reproduce the lyrics (with his reference) - a copy of the letter will be available if required when I get a chance to scan it! Phantomsteve (talkcontribs) 13:20, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Final update: I have put the wikisource link into the main article, and redirected this page to that one. PhantomSteve (talk) 18:12, 2 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
