GA review – see WP:WIAGA for criteria

  1. Is it reasonably well written?
    A. Prose quality:
The prose is excellent for the most part, although some parts could still be tightened up a bit. Specific comments:
    • The three counties in question do not participate in the system, and the roadway falls in the middle of the G zone for numbering purposes. — it would be ideal if you could mention the counties that Hwy 16 runs through before this sentence. Also, if you could explain what the G zone is (e.g. "The "G" Zone is west of US 41 between Lake Michigan and Lake Superior," from List of Michigan County-Designated Highways) that would also aid the lay reader in understanding where the route lies.
    • FFH 16 crosses back into Houghton County one last time and immediately terminates at M-38 west of the community of Nisula.[2][3] — since there is no map, is M-38 just the terminus of Hwy 16, or does M-28 terminate there as well?
    B. MoS compliance for lead, layout, words to watch, fiction, and lists:
  2. Is it factually accurate and verifiable?
    A. References to sources:
    B. Citation of reliable sources where necessary:
    C. No original research:
    No issues here.
  3. Is it broad in its coverage?
    A. Major aspects:
    B. Focused:
  4. Is it neutral?
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. Is it stable?
    No edit wars, etc:
  6. Does it contain images to illustrate the topic?
    A. Images are copyright tagged, and non-free images have fair use rationales:
The article really needs a map (and WP:USRD/STDS even demands one), but WP:WIAGA does not mandate this.
    B. Images are provided where possible and appropriate, with suitable captions:
  7. Overall:
    Pass or Fail:
The only real complaint I have with the article is that there is no map, but I understand that map making isn't a trivial task, and thus won't put a hold on the article for that. Titoxd(?!? - cool stuff) 23:09, 2 January 2012 (UTC)Reply
