Article 11 of the Convention

This is something I've been researching but I don't think it says that at all. Article 2 stipulates classes of work which are excluded from being forced or compulsory labour. This may be necessary work as a result of war, calamity, etc. Article 11 states that able bodied men who are apparently 18-45 may be used in forced or compulsory labour, although it does put some limitations on the proportion of men who may be so used. My interpretation is that the convention permits the use of men for forced or compulsory labour outside of the exceptions listed in article 2. Robert Brockway (talk) 14:12, 15 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
