Agree something fishy is going on. I am trying to work out whether or not under-pronation is the same as Supapronation. The page on Pronation - This needs to be either consolidated with the Foot type article or at least linked to it. I am not an expert but I can see over lap and possible contradiction between these articles BackwardsBoy (talk) 07:10, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
The definition of pronation seems to be contradicted. Pronation being rotation of 'foot from heel to toe' yet overpronation is 'roll on the inside of the foot'. Isn't that a rotation in a different axis, that is the axis along the foot ? PeterGrecian 11:20, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Confusing Wording

Be clear
And what is the "lateral side" of a heel? Which way is the "medial direction"? Isn't there a less-fancy way of referring to the "metatarsus" (sounds like some kind of dinosaur)? ... Forefoot Type
I think somewhere should be a discussion of the different forefoot types, best described in ballet but can also be relevant to shoe choice in general. What, no images?
As evidenced by the other comments, I'm not the only one who has trouble visualizing the definitions in the article. I guess the text makes sense to anatomists, but those don't need the article, they know it anyway.
