Other uses
editA fogger was also an early English name for a pedlar, a farm manager, groom, salesman, - occasionally used to dexcribe a "low class" lawyer. This usage comes up on census returns and marriage certificates etc.
- This is from pettifogger in the first instance and pettifactor in the second, which the OED records separately. More available at http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=pettifogger&allowed_in_frame=0 94.193.221.42 (talk) 01:19, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
