Merging page with Bayou St. John
editBayou St. John and Faubourg St. John are just two different names for the same neighborhood, and yet, interestingly, two articles describing the same neighborhood have survived quite a while on wikipedia. The Bayou St. John article features more technical details and statistics, while the Faubourg article features more history and community details, so it seems the two articles could merge quite nicely as there isn't a ton of overlap in the information they provide. It seems that the more common name is Bayou St. John, so that page could serve as the destination. RyanAl6 (talk) 20:29, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
No. "Bayou St. John" is a body of water. "Faubourg St. John" is a neighborhood. They are not the same. -- Infrogmation (talk) 21:21, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
- Support merge into Faubourg St. John article. I thought you were talking about merging into the Bayou St. John article, rather than the dubiously named "Bayou St. John, New Orleans" article (that title should be made into a disambiguation). -- Infrogmation (talk) 21:24, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
