The wikipedia citation for Fasica mentions:

"In Ethiopia, the main and long standing religion since the times of Queen of Sheba is Orthodox Christianity."

The Queen of Sheba was a consort of King Solomon's. This was quite a few centuries prior to the beginning of Christianity. I believe that this sentence needs to be re-examined. There is a strong Hebrew tradition in Ethiopia. This is the tradition that preceded Christianity.
