The F30 was based on the Farmall Regular but was a larger tractor rated for 3 bottom plows as compared to the Regular's 2 bottom rating. The F20, introduced one year after the F30, was the direct replacement for the earlier Farmall Regular. The standard tread version of the F30 was the W30, not the W40.
