editThis article conflicts with the article about Homopolar generators: That article says that Faraday wheels are homopolar generators, and that they use electric fields to generate the potential difference. Name change?
editThe more common name for this device today is Faraday disc. This name received 24,000 hits on Google, as opposed to 1,800 for "Faraday wheel". --ChetvornoTALK 01:18, 30 January 2013 (UTC)
