The definition of the ENR given in this article is an approximation, that is wrong on a pure theory aspect, and can introduce significant measurement errors if the ENR is lower than approx. 15dB. One exact definition can be, at ~300K : ENR(dB) = 10*log [(10^(PSD_dBm/Hz/10)-10^(-174/10))/10^(-174/10)] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.54.144.229 (talkcontribs) 12:01, 20 February 2017 (UTC)Reply

Couldn't figure out what conjugated meant in conjugated noise source. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Edlong (talkcontribs) 12:53, 29 March 2017 (UTC)Reply
To Anonymous: feel free to amend the entry. The formula is one that is commonly used but I would not dispute your statement. If you do edit the page it's worth noting that the formula given is approximate but commonly used and that a more accurate formula is as follows.Edlong (talk) 12:43, 20 April 2022 (UTC)Reply
