Unreferenced and dubious

This article is completely unsourced and reads like an opinion piece or short essay. I have no doubt that some opera productions in the style mentioned have been referred to as "Eurotrash", but I'm dubious that it rises to the level of significance needed for an article. --MCB (talk) 09:05, 17 January 2011 (UTC)

"Eurotrash" is actually widely known and referenced, and it is a significant element (some would say problem) in opera stagings today. It deserves to be recognized, and, I would say, deserves its own article - but this one does need more work! RossweisseSTL (talk) 22:50, 6 July 2011 (UTC)Rossweisse
