This (and several) other articles refer to 'independent trade unions'. What does the 'independent' part mean? Independent of what? Party affiliation? Independent of party affiliation. Independent trade unions are not affiliated to any political party nor do they subscribe to any political ideology Emac2013 (talk) 22:35, 20 June 2013 (UTC)Reply
