The copyright bot found that my initial phrasing was too similar to the association's "about us" page. I have since altered the content on the temporary sub-page and believe I am now in compliance with the copyright requirements.

Furthermore, all reference text is in the public domain and not protected by any copyright notices.

Hi. I want to clarify that copyright notice is not required for protection under United States copyright law, which governs Wikipedia. In order to duplicate a source, we need to be able to demonstrate that it is public domain or licensed compatibly, as with explicit notice or if we can verify that it is not eligible for copyright protection (for example, works of the United States government are not copyrighted, though works of most other governments are). --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:42, 14 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
