Plasmalogen image appears to be in error

edit

It appears that the image of the Plasmalogen is mistaken in the positioning of the vinyl ether and ester linkages. The caption indicates that the ether is in the first position (on the glycerol) and the ester is in the second, but the image shows the reverse. I believe that the caption is correct but the image is in error. This should be checked for accuracy by someone more qualified than myself. Jtwsaddress42 (talk) 17:40, 5 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

The image has been corrected. Thank you! Jtwsaddress42 (talk) 18:04, 29 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Archaeal ether lipids

edit

Should we not include a section on ether lipids from Archaea? Ether lipids are a major constituent of archael membranes. I feel we are neglecting a whole domain of life here! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Georget4886 (talkcontribs) 09:21, 21 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
