OK, I've started reading through, making copy edits as I go. The only thing I've come up with so far is in the Early life section:
- Date ranges such as in the fall of 1912 are discouraged by WP:SEASON
I'll read through the rest of it and have some more comments for you over the next 24-48 hours

Having read through the remainder of the article, I must compliment you on an excellent piece of work. I'm happy to pass it and I hope you will take it further. I would recommend you read through it—you could use a few more commas in places, but, other than that, the prose is excellent. I would suggest getting an informal peer review at the military history wikiproject, where you might find people more knowledgeable on the subject than I and I think A-class and even FAC are within reach.
