Spinalis Capitis

I just learned that the spinalis muscle does not have a capitis portion because the muscle it merges with superiorly (semispinalis capitis) makes up the entirety of the muscle "spinalis capitis" would be. Unfortunately I don't have a text to refer to right now. Scrycer (talk) 15:03, 13 April 2010 (UTC)scrycerReply

Pronunciation edit

ə-rek-tər spee-nee is incorrect; this should be ə-rek-tər speye-nee as per http://dictionary.cambridge.org/us/pronunciation/english/spinae. 72.34.133.249 (talk) 17:48, 10 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Origin & Insertion edit

The recent edits made me examine the infobox more carefully, and it definitely isn't accurate, especially since the muscle group as a whole has attachments to lumbar vertebrae, the sacrum, etc. Should we just lump all the origins and insertion in together, or somehow subdivide the sections of the infobox for the SP, LD and IL? If the latter, does anyone know how to do this, since I'm terrible at wiki-coding? Mokele (talk) 16:55, 1 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Purpose edit

Might be worth adding the purpose of the muscle to the article. I'd do it, but I'm not knowledgeable enough. TotallyNotEtreo 18:46, 16 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
