Change all instances of "Jay" to "J"

this spelling frankly has no place being used. not only is the katakana spelling of Beet J. Stag "ビート・J・スタッグ" using the english letter J, but as seen in this excerpt from the TV-Asahi site: "愕然とするゴーバスターズの前に、Jが現れマサトを復活させる。" instances where he is referred to by nickname use the english letter J. this is also fitting of the spy theme, as secret agent series such as James Bond and Men in Black have used single letter codenames24.18.120.231 (talk) 00:26, 17 August 2012 (UTC)

Fine. It's been changed. But don't refer to this as an "abuse of power". I'm only an experienced editor and you're some anon from 4chan or RangerBoard pissed off that I try to make these pages show accurate and written nicely in English. Buddyroid vs buddyloid

That's an Amazon listing by a third party seller, "globalwide", not Bandai. Bandai does sell a T-Shirt though with one of the spellings. — Strongjam (talk) 12:24, 18 August 2015 (UTC)

Also there is a discussion about this over at Talk:Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters#Final statement on Vaglass, Buddyloid, and Metaloid (permalink in case it gets archived.) Figuarts are the official maker of toys and the official source from Bandia in all regions. It's buddyroids, there's not really any discussion here. The official marketing material for the US is roid. A poorly translated shirt on a japanese only site(not meant for english sale) vs officially selling your merchandise through US sites. The Amazon listing was written by a third party seller. A poorly translated shirt on a japanese only site But it's from Bandai directly, and you said they're all that matters. There was already a long discussion about this that I've linked too, and consensus was to use the Buddyloid spelling with a footnote, if you'd like to implement that here I'd be fine with that. Also, if you are going to continue to revert back to what the vandal put in, can you please at least remove the vandalism? Bandai's official page and same for figuarts has it in english as buddyroids, you're just flat out wrong. Then link to that? The official consensus is Buddyloid. All the Japanese language sources use Buddyloid and because Go-Busters has never been officially translated into English, anything on Amazon.com from a third party seller is not official. Buddyroid spelling

As was brought up here, according to this source, the official spelling is BuddyRoid, not BuddyLoid. This would make sense since it is an anDroid that is a "buddy".--Somenolife (talk) 03:41, 18 March 2017 (UTC)
