The names of the candidates were for the most part unknown, a Sunni boycott significantly influenced the balance of power, and Bush claimed the Iraqi and Palestinian elections were legitimate (despite foreign occupation) while today he demands that Syria must pull out of Lebanon in order for free elections to take place there! Saying "the first genuine free elections in Iraq's history" sounds clearly POV. I agree that the article should at least state WHO says that and WHO disputes it. --Susurrus 05:38, 22 Mar 2005 (UTC)
