Talk:Eckart conditions

Explicit expressions for basis vectors of the Eckart frame are given in A.V.Meremianin, J. Chem. Phys. vol 120, 2004, pp.7861-7876

Re-adding Bunker reference

edit

Bunker references are kept under watch [1] because of self-promotion on Wikipedia. I recently removed one because it was egregious COI. If someone believes that the Bunker reference improves Wikipedia, is helpful or is needed for the article, then they can re-add it, provided they give a good reason for it. I think it would be helpful to add the following at the end of the introductory paragraph:

In Section 10.2 of the textbook by Bunker and Jensen, [1] a numerical example of the application of the Eckart conditions is given. This example shows how the orientation of the axes, as obtained by application of the Eckart conditions, is minimally rotated when the molecule is vibrationally distorted.
