Number of children and elderly dead
The figure 89 is far too low for the number of children and elderly killed. Jonestown Spelling - Kool-Aid vs Cool aid
The Jonestown Massacre section states "Criminal investigators testifying at the Jonestown inquest spoke of finding packets of "cool aid" (sic), and eyewitnesses to the incident are also recorded as speaking of "cool aid" or "Cool Aid." How does one differentiate between "kool" or "cool" and "aid" or "ade" when speaking? Is "cool" pronounced differently than "Cool", or is "Kool-Aid" pronounced differently than "cool aid"? Is there somehow an intent to portray the investigators and eyewitnesses as ingorant? 76.174.194.2 (talk) 20:15, 11 January 2014 (UTC)
Koolaid is a brand name that is pronounced like "Cool aid". The "-aid" is a play on "-ade", as in "lemonade" and "orangeade", i.e. a fruit beverage. Koolaid was a popular cooling drink in the hot summers in North America. They still have a website. Search koolaid.
