editIs this really a suitable subject for an article? I don't think we have any other articles on draft UN resolutions which failed to pass the Security Council; there have been quite a lot of them. I won't nominate this for deletion straight away, but I'm doubtful that it passes our inclusion guidelines. Robofish (talk) 18:14, 20 February 2011 (UTC)
Legality of the resolution
editThe resolution was illegal. The UN charter, article 80, prohibits the UN from changing the status of rights obtained under the League of Nations. The Jewish state was given rights to all the land west of the Jordan river under the San Remo Treaty and the British Mandate. The UN failed in its duty to uphold article 80. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.30.15.163 (talk) 13:40, 9 November 2011 (UTC)
