Major edit edit

I've cut out big chunks of this that were full of jargon or detail that would be uninteresting to most readers. As a result the page should now be a lot more readable. Unfortunately, removal of the basic process removed the definition of what DSP actually is, which made the article less useful (to the point that the article might be considered for deletion) - even if it does appear that some of the original citations no longer work. I have added the basic process back in. Winged Cat (talk) 06:54, 24 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
