Notability

edit

The article has been tagged because of the lack of information available about the subject. It was originally presented as a geographic place (i.e. a locality), however, a search of the SA government's placename gazetteer revealed that the name refers to a homestead and to a drainage structure; there was no entries for locality or a place (i.e. an unbounded locality). According, the subject has been redefined as a homestead as this was the closest to being a place. Another source used as reference in the article suggests that the word may be a local aboriginal word meaning a waterhole and that the word may have been used for the name of a mine.
