Mortuary body mix-up investigation launched
An investigation has been launched after the body of a man who died in police custody turned up years after he was supposed to have been buried. Hull City Council have found 37-year-old Christopher Alder's body in the mortuary where that of Grace Kamara, 77, should have been. Mr Alder, an ex-paratrooper and Falklands veteran, died in the custody suite of Queens Garden police station on April 1, 1998.Keith-264 (talk) 17:11, 6 November 2011 (UTC)
- Late reply, admittedly: is briefly mentioned in the article now but requires expansion, and also I recall that some years ago there was something of a scandal - and promises of an inquiry - when it was discovered that some of his organs had been retained after his *supposed* burial.
