I am trying to clean up this article according to Wikipedia standards. User:Frelau has reverted some of my edits without providing a valid reason or any edit summary whatsoever. I had replaced links that were no longer applicable or working. I also grouped all LAC details together in line with MOS:PARAGRAPHS. I would like to know Frelau's reason for reverting my constructive edits. HelenOnline 10:45, 24 November 2013 (UTC)

From their post on my talk page, it appears Frelau has a conflict of interest. I have added alike resumé tag and a tag. I was trying to improve the article but don't see the point unless Frelau decides to work with me instead of against me. HelenOnline 11:12, 24 November 2013 (UTC)

I am also trying to make it closer to a bio like it is defined in the guidelines. I understand we were working both at the same time. This created confusion. I am absolutely willing to improve it. It is improving but still unbalanced. There is a lot of end-of-career material and little on efforts made by Caron to orient the institution. We need to put more references to the orientation. He is not the institution. He was leading it. Those multiple articles from Chris Cobb are more opinions than anything else. By the way, I found other more balanced articles on the Hill Times, The Star and Teresa Smith that present a more balanced view of Caron battle to modernize LAC. Agree with what was removed about LAC. However, there should references to Modernization which to be his biggest battle and orientation -people may like or not but it needs to be fairly presented. I have readded the book. Please give me some time to consider the rest (I need to attend to something else for a few hours). Please note this article does not need to address LAC issues in detail and I would prefer to avoid unnecessary forking. I am with you on the overall objective and the necessity to disentangle the Caron bio from LAC history. My point is to make a bio a real bio and present all aspects including what the person tried to achieve or achieved. Wait for your reaction. Two more points: I found that the Code of conduct have nothing to do with Caron or even LAC but the Treasury Board Secretariat and the Government. They imposed it to all departments including the wording that became public for several departments where research is being conducted.

I have added a reference, further reading and an external link. The LAC sources are primary sourcesso there are restrictions on how they may be used. The blogs and any other self-published sources may not be used as sources on a BLP. HelenOnline 11:35, 25 November 2013 (UTC)
