Fake map and fake source

The map's sources are definitely fake. There is no "Mughlistan Research Institute" in Jahangirnagar, Bangladesh. The very name of the supposed creator of the map "Sheikh Bangistani" is sufficient proof of the hoax. --Ragib 02:52, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

I did not place said image but thats how Dalitstan cited it. Dalitstan.org works in weird ways and I'm not surprised that the "research institute" and the creator are fake. Thanks for helping expose the lies perpetrated by the hate site.Bakaman _Bakatalk 16:38, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

The site was creepy. It had a section on "pornography in the Ramayan". They loved to misrepresent moral and religious stories to that extent, as if Valmiki was a pervert.Bakaman _Bakatalk 17:08, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

Letter in middle of article?

I am pretty new to wikipedia but I've hardly seen a letter reproduced anywhere that could not be summarized in text in 1-2 lines. Is this necessary in an encyclopedia article? I'll wait for a response from those concerned and then delete it if none is offered. Requesting action from more experienced wikipedians on this matter. Quite true, quite true. Shaivism is the standard belief for many Hindus in West Bengal and Orissa. I couldn't agree with you more. But the text is lifted varbatim from the hate-site and stated as their (completely false) claim.Hkelkar 18:07, 12 September 2006 (UTC)

Original Research Removed

I edited out the following paragraph... "It may also be noted that many of these 'authors' may be fictitious - for example authors with a south Indian names like Naidu write their English as if written by a Urdu speaking person. One can also become aware of the large scale incongruities and incoherancies of the writing. For example "Uthaya Naidu" writes in one paragraph "The advent of the Mughal Caliphate of Delhi in Mughalstan (Indus-Ganges Valley) meant the end of the apartheid varna system in the north". The next line is "Here the Aryan Brahmins collaborated with the Aryan Islamic invaders from Central Asia and maintained the apartheid varna system". It looks like elementary logic does not apply to the Hindu haters of the site. In their anxiety to malign Hinduism , one line is contradicted by the next line."

Need for Inclusion of the Website Logo and Infobox

I've created an infobox for this article but whenever I try to edit this article, the browsers are not responding to the submit button ("save page"). I am facing the same problem in all browsers - Chrome, Safari, Firefox, IE, SeaMonkey,etc. I suspect either censorship or a technical snag. Hence, I request the editors/admins to:

• Insert the infobox which is currently posted on my sandpaper page.
• Restore and insert the website logo image - the image was a non-free image and was deleted because it could not be included in this article within the stipulated time.
• If possible a mention can be made about the presence of the people behind this Dalitstan Group on social networking sites such as Facebook.

Problems with this article`

I've removed a source which was just a letter to the editor and not appropriate for the statement it was backing. I've also removed some material that was just arguing against the website's position with no sources discussing the website - see WP:OR and WP:VERIFY. I've fact tagged a claim that no respectable scholars support any of the website's positions - that seems very unlikely looking through Google Books - where I found a number of sources that could be used to give a broader perspective on this website.
