Article rewrite
editHi! I'm taking a class where the students need to edit a Wikipedia page. This is my first time using the site so any feedback you have for me would be very helpful. I did keep the information that was previously written for this topic, but I moved it around. I'm not sure if I cite this in any special way or if it's fine as is, I just don't want to plagiarize their work.
This is what I have so far... Kaity22 (talk) 04:02, 4 November 2015 (UTC)
- @Kaity22: My advice: remember WP:BOLD, make your edits as incremental changes to the article. Re-using existing content is what you should do, it's not "plagarism" if you re-use Wikipedia content on Wikipedia. :) The changes that anyone makes will be available in the edit history of the page.
- Now you should work on integrating all of this into the article proper and then delete it from the talk page. -- intgr [talk] 08:35, 6 November 2015 (UTC)
- @Kaity22: Please take care not to break any existing markup in the article. Your edit removed wikilinks and categories from the article. Also the lead section does not conform to MOS:LEAD and WP:' -- intgr [talk] 11:54, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
- Hi! I added some more information to the introductory section to make it a better summary of the entire article. Thank you for your feedback. This is my first time using the site so any feedback is very helpful. Kaity22 (talk) 14:45, 11 November 2015 (UTC)
Banking of DNA
editHow do I register my DNA? Shaper1214 (talk) 14:06, 31 August 2023 (UTC)
- I'm not sure what you mean by "register my DNA,", however Wikipedia talk pages are only for discussion of Wikipedia articles. If you meant something else, let me know. ~~2NumForIce (speak|edits) 18:01, 31 August 2023 (UTC)
