D sharp vs. E flat edit
D sharp is very rarely enountered in actual practice, E flat very commonly encountered; might it not be more in keeping with music as it is actually written and performed to redirect D♯ to E flat than E flat to D♯ as is currently the case? - D sharp is not rare at all. In the system of scales and chords, enharmonic notes do have different meanings. (Depending on the kind of tuning system used, it could even be an other pitch.) Wikispaghetti (talk) 16:38, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
