Unfortunately I know nothing about the subject, or I'd have a go at fixing it. It needs an introduction which is country-neutral (rather than starting with Hong Kong??) and a section on the history of the revenue, references to smuggling, etc. etc. This seems to have been cut and pasted from some book of regulations.Dickpenn (talk) 22:12, 9 March 2013 (UTC)

Changes were made to officers' powers under the following legislation, which are not yet reflected in this article:

• Commissioners for Revenue and Customs Act 2005 (e.g. repeals in section 52 and Schedule 5)
• Finance Act 2000
• Finance Act 2007
