- Attempt to reduce the length of the article to no more than 100kB. This can be done by removing the lists that feature in many sections and by restructuring them to present a more concise introduction to a topic rather than being a complete article in themselves.
- Review and edit to ensure the article presents a British, rather than English, view of a topic.
