Cleanup Template Added

Currently this article looks terrible. Firstly, the see also section is right underneath the contents, which should not be happening. Also, there is a long set of paragraphs that looks somewhat like copyrighted material out of a book. Underneath the external links section are other capitalized (see Manual of Style) headings with non-wikified content underneath. I know nothing of Greenland, so someone who knows about its culture please help. Thanks. — Webdinger BLAH | SZ 18:25, 16 April 2006 (UTC)

Danish culture

This article is 99% about the (very interesting) Inuit culture of Greenland. What of the Danish culture? Are there Greendlandic books and newspapers? Radio and television? Literature? Folklore? All these things would make it a more complete article. Totnesmartin 13:49, 2 March 2007 (UTC)

I agree the interplay with modern culture is somewhat missing. -- Slaunger (talk) 09:27, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

New article: Reindeer hunting in Greenland

I have finally gone public with my new article:

Other issues

No mention of music, folklore, literature etc. I know at the very least that there are distinctive forms of singing in this country.-MacRùsgail (talk) 12:39, 4 March 2014 (UTC)

Suicide

Can anyone elucidate why Greenland has such a high suicide rate? Suicide rates by nation. It can't just be UV deprivation, as other northerly countries (Iceland, Scandinavia) have significantly lower rates of suicide. 121.73.7.84 (talk) 12:27, 1 June 2014 (UTC)

I'd recommend taking a look at Suicide in Greenland. Some of the references are particularly detailed, and seasonal light in the summer is thought to be a cause. AVAAGAA 17:53, 2 June 2014 (UTC)
