  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose):   b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
I've found content in the lead that is not mentioned in the body. Also, references in lead should not be there, but in the body instead. In looking at the body, I find multiple examples of both long and short paragraphs. The second-to-last paragraph of the conception and creation section has two clearly different discussion points, yet are combined in spite of the two points being able to thrive on their own. Crash Bandicoot 4's plot section seems oddly split off from the first plot paragraph (speaking of which, it should be called "Appearances" instead). As for the other appearances section, it's oddly split into three paragraphs when it could be made into only one (there does not seem to be any special reasons that I can see for why the games of the third paragraph are not a part of the second paragraph). - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! 2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (references):   b (citations to reliable sources):   c (OR):
Alas, I must similarly protest the use of Crashmania in this article as I did in the video game article. I've also observed at WP:VG/RS that Worth Playing is not considered a reliable source by Wikipedia. Gaming Target is "less unreliable", but still not reliable enough for use on Wikipedia (I think I missed that in the video game article, could you please remove it from there too?). Additionally, it seems strange that you would reference all of the voice actors except for the last one. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! 3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects):   b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free images have fair use rationales):   b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
The images' fair use rationales are fairly weak, and should be strengthened to illustrate specific design processes and information (such as designer, inspiration if applicable, etc.). This rings especially true for the concept image. On an aside, I must strongly recommend including an image of Crash as he appears before his redesign. I would think that this is more iconic, and since it's discussed so much (and was the reason why the series was picked up by Sony in the end), it definitely has a strong fair use rationale. What I'm wondering, however, is if we should use his original appearance in the lead (articles that use older versions of character art include Link, Cammy, etc.). - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! 1. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
I think I've fixed most if not all of the addressed problems with the article. Cat's Tuxedo (talk) 07:30, 17 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
As is, I'm still wary of the last voice actor line being unsourced when everything else is. And as for images, the sources should be reasonably reliable - that is, give us reason to believe that the image is legitimate? Additionally, the image should be sourced to its use in the article of origin instead of a direct link to the file, so that we can see how the image was used. - New Age Retro Hippie (talk) (contributions) 08:40, 17 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
The image is cropped from an official illustration by Naughty Dog, so I went ahead and looked for a site that had it. Not sure if it'll fly or not, but it's what I could find. As for the Japanese VAs, their names are credited in English in the Japanese versions of the games from what I've seen from the Japanese playthroughs, so I went and attached those credits as the sources. Looks good mostly. In the future, I would suggest to either remove the image or try to get direct correspondence with the creator to verify its validity. - New Age Retro Hippie (talk) (contributions) 23:34, 17 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
