Corporate edit

What a silly names are constructed with Corporate... Why not simpler organizational...?! I understand selling efforts... Sorry folks, but encyklopedija is not a collection of buzzwords. Definition needs more precision and clearness.--AndriuZ 09:52, 17 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

I think if you take a step back and consider not what the word Corporate defines in the commercial sense, but rather what it defines as in the collective sense, the word becomes quite concise and descriptive. From the Free Dictionary: United or combined into one body; collective: made a corporate effort to finish the job. --Helf 21:06, 1 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

SO should we use "corporate" or " "organizational" memory then ? cause if it were me, if i can't find corporate i'll use organizational Wisnu 1 November 2006

Propose merger with Knowledge Management edit

In accordance with Wikipedia policy (see WP:MM#Overlap), I propose that this article is merged with the article on Knowledge Management, as the similarity of the content of the article is striking, even if the titles are different. Otherwise I would be suspicious that the article had been created to promote a book, service or college course and, as such, would be worthy of deletion. -- Gavin Collins 16:52, 25 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

I support the alternative, merge with Organizational memory which refers to the same concept Harvey the rabbit (talk) 02:13, 12 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I suggest merging with Organizational memory, which refers to the same concept and is much more frequently used in the literature - and then delete this article. On the other hand, "knowledge management" should be kept separate as it encompasses organizational memory -- josei 18:06, 28 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Agreed, suggest it be merged with Organizational memory as you are correct, it does refer to the same concept Harvey the rabbit (talk) 02:13, 12 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
And Institutional memory as well. --Cat4567nip (talk) 14:56, 11 February 2010 (UTC)Reply
