Talk:Corporate action

Latest comment: 6 years ago by InternetArchiveBot in topic External links modified

Is there an exhaustive list of corporate actions?

No there are not. The Securities Market Practice group tried to come up with one, which is the link at the bottom of the page. However, this is not exhaustive and is used for processing only. Some firms see certain events as corporate actions whilst others do not. For example a name change is a corporate event and for processing purposes is has an effect on all the paper issued by a firm. however, there is (generally) no material effect to the value of that paper, so the event is often not treated as a corproate action (and often missed, it must be said) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rgnewbury (talkcontribs) 18:42, 7 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
