Context
The recent addition of two other ad campaigns featuring the word "leather" strikes me as WP:original research. I would imagine we'd be better off finding a secondary source for assessing the cultural impact of leather as a material or as an advertising image. Corinthian Leather,, Pop Punk Band formed in 2008 from the Central Valley of California.

History of Term "Corinthian"
Someone might want to look into whether the adjective "Corinthian," as applied to leather in an atmosphere of conspicuous consumption and luxury, relates to the ancient uses of the same adjective in describing an alloy of bronze (Corinthian Bronze), considered in Greek and Roman times a special luxury. Petronius (Satyricon 50) gives a good impression of the place of Corinthian bronze as a special luxury item among the ostentatious. Like Corinthian Leather, Corinthian Bronze didn't necessarily originate in Corinth, and the cited passage of the Satyricon seems to indicate that the term was rather meaningless except as a reason to boast of owning "Corinthian" bronze.
