Cooper Hilite
editIn this subcategory of Cooper Black, the author states: "A messy version was released by the Russian type foundry Paratype in 1993." I think the term messy here needs clarification, as it is not commonly used to define a font.

Unavailable source - to follow up on
editA source I know exists but haven't yet been able to access is U&LC 18;2, which includes an article on Cooper. Unfortunately although fonts.com have digitised most of U&LC they had to miss that issue. Also the A-Z of Type Designers shows a specimen sheet with the chapter heading "On Cooper Type Faces" - apparently this was a BB&S specimen from googling it, but I haven't been able to access a copy.
