Dating edit
"radiocarbon dated to 11,370 ± 40 years Before Present (about 13,200 calendar years ago)." Why the discrepancy? 11,370+70=12,070 adjusting 1950 and 2020. Is the discrepancy due to calibration? If so, this needs to be at least alluded to. Kdammers (talk) 03:43, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
- Well, thats what the source says AFAICT for the relevant layer. They used INTCAL20 for calibration. I linked the article doi in the ref. Take a look if you like [1] and if you have a better analysis feel free. The 16K years ago number the secondary source mentions is for beginning of any occupation at the site btw.Ploversegg (talk) 04:06, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
