"A theory is semantically literal if and only if the language of the theory cannot be reinterpreted in non-theoretical terms without some change in meaning." - Can the author of this article be more precise? I had a hard time understanding the above sentence. It means if we interpret a theory in observational terms, then we will change the meaning of terms, i.e. that it is impossible for a theoretical term to become an observational one without change in meaning- right? Who says the contray? that thanks
