Congenic and coisogenic are not the same as indicated in the article. Should be reexamined! Padder333 (talk) 19:34, 22 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Absolutely! Congenics differ for a small part of a chromosome (containing the locus of interest), coisogenics differ by one locus only and only arise by (spontaneous or induced) mutation of an inbred strain. --Crusio (talk) 04:51, 26 January 2011 (UTC)Reply
